Croatian midfielder Luka Modric has agreed a deal with Real Madrid that will see the 38 year-old continue his stay at the Santiago Bernabeu next season.
Modric was rumoured to be following his legendary midfield partner Toni Kroos into retirement during the season after falling down the pecking order but after winning yet another UEFA Champions League trophy has decided to stay for at least one more season.
The new deal will see Modric stay in Madrid until the end of the 2024/25 season, making it his 13th season for Los Blancos.
