Manchester United have officially parted ways with Dutch manager Erik ten Hag after three years at the club.
The Red Devils have had their worst start to a Premier League campaign with just 11 points from a possible 27, sitting in 14th position on the table and 12 points off league leaders Manchester City.
Despite United’s leadership backing Ten Hag with more than £600 million since his arrival, bringing in superstars such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Andre Onana and Matthjis De Ligt, it always seemed like the 54 year-olds days were numbered since INEOS bought into the club.
Assistant manager and legendary striker Ruud van Nistlerooy will take the reigns in the dugout for the foreseeable future.
