French midfielder Paul Pogba was given the go-ahead to play professional football again following his initial four year ban on doping charges, according to reports.
According to Fabrizio Romano, after a reduced 18-month ban due to using stimulants Paul Pogba can officially play football after serving his ban and is currently a free agent.
Paul Pogba received a four-year ban, which was later reduced to 18 months starting from September 2023. The question now is which club he will join, as Europe’s major leagues are not open for transfers. This leaves the French midfielder with the option of playing in America, as the MLS transfer window remains open until April 23rd.

France coach Didier Deschamps recently backed Pogba to get back to full fitness if he were to feature in the national team again and when asked if the midfielder would make a come back to the squad, Deschamps responded, “He should apparently be back to play again, but he has no club.”
“We’re talking, but I won’t tell you the details. Yes he has the mentality and ability to return to the highest level,” he added.

Prior to his ban, Pogba played a total 91 international games for France, and will be looking to boast more caps for his country as he searches for his next club.
There’s been reports linking him to Ligue 1’s Olympique Marseille, despite never making a first team appearance in the league as he’s only played youth football in France.
