Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig are both battling to secure the signature of Dutch international Xavi Simons from PSG.
Simons was one of the standout performers at Euro 2024, leading the Netherlands to the semi-finals alongside Cody Gakpo and Virgil Van Dijk.
Paris Saint-Germain do not want to lose the 21 year-old on a permanent deal and have given Simons permission to leave on loan.
Bayern Munich sporting director Max Eberl brought Xavi Simons to Leipzig last season and is pushing to sign the young star, but is seems Leipzig are leading the race to resign the forward.
