Barcelona has officially announced the return of Thiago Alcantara to the Camp Nou, 11 years after his departure.
The 33-year-old midfielder, who recently retired after leaving Liverpool, will join Hansi Flick’s coaching staff.

In a club statement, Barcelona revealed that Thiago will spend several weeks with the first team this summer as he learns and transitions to be a coach himself. He will also be part of the team’s preseason tour to the USA.

Thiago’s addition to Hansi Flick’s camp is seen as a valuable one, given his extensive experience at Barcelona and his deep understanding of the club’s football culture. Having previously played under Flick at Bayern Munich, Thiago brings insights from working with top managers like Pep Guardiola, Carlo Ancelotti, and Jurgen Klopp.
