Trent agrees to join Real Madrid

Liverpool fullback and vice captain Trent Alexander-Arnold has agreed to join Spanish giants and UEFA Champions League holders Real Madrid.

According to multiple reports, the 26-year defender is ready to accept a move to the Santiago Bernabeu after more than 18 months of negotiations from Los Blancos.

Alexander-Arnold  will be joining friend and England team mate Jude Bellingham in Madrid, with the right-back set to be the long-term replacement for Spanish fullback Dani Carvajal who suffered a serious knee injury earlier in the season.

Liverpool have been trying to convince their vice captain to stay, but it seems the scouser has had his head turned at the prospect of linking with Bellingham and joining Real Madrid.
