There were no doubts about whether Manchester City made the right choice when securing Erling Haaland’s signature from Borussia Dortmund after meeting his release clause of 60 million euros.

Less than a year into his five year contract, Haaland looks to be the best signing of the modern football era.

The Norwegian has scored 48 goals and provided six assists in just 41 appearances for City, with Haaland’s 12 goals topping the scoring charts in the UEFA Champions League while equaling Mohamed Salah’s Premier League golden boot record of 32 goals with eight games still to play.
