Percy Tau netted a brace to inspire Al Ahly to a comfortable 4-0 victory over Ismaily at the Borg Al Arab Stadium in their Egyptian Premier League opener on Wednesday evening.

The Bafana Bafana star marked his first appearance with a beautiful goal when he received the ball in the final third and dribbled past an Ismaily defender before sending the ball into the bottom corner to give Ahly a 2-0 lead before the half-hour mark.

Tau then completed his brace in a remarkable debut, adding their third goal after he received the ball and placed it into the bottom corner to make it 3-0.

The South African was unable to bag a hat-trick but had an incredible debut under Pitso Mosimane as they ran out 4-0 winners on the day.
