Leeds United have lost a legal battle with Red Bull Leipzig, forcing them to pay 21 million euros for a player that managed just 48 minutes of game time.
French forward Jean-Kevin Augustin was at the centre of this battle after his loan spell at Leeds became permanent due to a promotion clause in his contract.
Leeds have also been ruled to pay Augustin the wages he is due, a figure of roughly 24-million-euros.
This ruling has left Leeds owing more than 45-million-euros for a player that made just three substitute appearances for the club.
