Ollie Watkins emerged as England’s saviour, netting a 90th-minute goal to secure a 2-1 victory over the Netherlands, booking the Three Lions’ place in the Euro 2024 final.

The semi-final encounter between England and the Netherlands looked to be settled into extra time following Harry Kane’s equalising penalty cancelling out Xavi Simon’s incredible long-range shot.
In the 90th minute, Aston Villa forward struck a low ball, drilling it past Dutch goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen to send the English through to their second successive Euro final under Gareth Southgate.
