Pochettino was arguably Tottenham’s most successful coach in the Premier League era, creating a squad that became European regulars, even taking Spurs to their first ever UEFA Champions League final.
Chelsea have been in a state of disaster for the past 12 months since new ownership, led by American owner Todd Boehly, fired now Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel less than eight games into the season.
Poch looks set to be Chelsea’s fourth managerial appointment since the beginning of the season, with the ownership looking to start fresh with a trusted and successful manager.
Will Mauricio Pochettino’s history with their London rivals be too much for the Chelsea fans to handle?
