Defending MTN8 champions Mamelodi Sundowns will face Orlando Pirates in the semi-finals of the competition, while Kaizer Chiefs will take on AmaZulu.
The draw took place on Monday evening in Johannesburg at SuperSport’s Randburg studio, with the last four teams now knowing who they will need to overcome to pick up the first piece of silverware on offer this season.
The Brazilians were the last team to seal their spot in the final four with a 2-0 win over Tshwane rivals SuperSport United on Sunday evening.
Their opponents Pirates would have watched Sunday’s action in anticipation after sealing a 1-0 win over Royal AM on Saturday evening, while Ushutu got the action under way earlier with an extra-time victory over Cape Town City.
Chiefs, on the other hand, needed penalties to get through after a tight 1-1 draw with Stellenbosch FC.
