The Premier Soccer League has confirmed that the two postponed DStv Premiership fixtures from this past weekend have been rescheduled for Monday and Tuesday this week.
The encounter between Royal AM and Mamelodi Sundowns was scheduled to take place on Saturday afternoon but abandoned after 25 minutes due to a water-logged pitch.
The DStv Premiership match between AmaZulu FC and Golden Arrows was also called off and postponed due to a rain-drenched pitch at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
However, the PSL has now confirmed new dates for the fixtures, with Royal AM taking on champions Sundowns at the Chatsworth Stadium on Monday afternoon with kick-off set for 3pm.
Meanwhile, AmaZulu will now welcome Golden Arrows to the Moses Mabhida Stadium in their final league match on Tuesday afternoon, with kick-off also scheduled for 3pm.
In a statement, the PSL announced:
“Due to improved weather conditions and after thorough inspections of pitch conditions at both match venues, the two postponed fixtures have been rescheduled as follows:
“Royal AM vs Mamelodi Sundowns – 23 May 2022 (15h00) at Chatsworth Stadium
“AmaZulu FC vs Golden Arrows – 24 May 2022 (15h00) at Moses Mabhida Stadium.”
