Bafana Bafana midfielder Dean Furman believes that there will be no excuses for the South African national side should they not qualify for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
Bafana are just a point a way from securing their spot in Egypt as they prepare to face Libya in Sfax on Sunday evening.
After an inconsistent qualifying campaign Bafana will be aiming to get the job done against the Mediterranean Knights and Furman believes to finish off the qualifying campaign in style.
‘It’s is all about getting the job done, we can’t have excuses,’ Furman told Phakaaathi.
‘It has been an up-and-down group because we started off with a fantastic win over Nigeria and then we had a fantastic result against Seychelles and a disappointing draw away to Seychelles,’ he added.

‘So it has been a bit of a roller-coaster ride for us but we have to finish in the right style and I think we have the squad to take us all the way.
‘With them needing a win they are going to throw bodies forward and hopefully that might suit us. The likes of Themba Zwane, Percy Tau, Keagan Dolly [Since been ruled out] or whoever plays, we know we have got a lot of speed going forward and we can exploit spaces. Hopefully we are going to see them coming at us,’ he concluded.
