Bayern sign Joao Cancelo on loan from Man City

German champions, Bayern Munich have further bolstered their squad with the signing of Manchester City Wing-back Joao Cancelo on loan for the rest of the season. The Bavarians have an option to buy on a permanent deal for 70 million euros at the end of the loan stint.

It is believed that Cancelo asked for the move, amid rumours that he had become disgruntled over the past few weeks. Many reports claim there have been disagreements between him and manager Pep Guardiola.
