Catch up with highlights from Friday night’s Caf Champions League action where AmaZulu picked up their first points of the group stage with a tight 1-0 win over Horoya while defending champions Al Ahly were held to a 0-0 draw in their group opener.

A first half goal from was enough to Luvuyo Memela inspired AmaZulu to the 1-0 victory over Horoya in their Caf Champions League Group B encounter at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Friday evening.

Ushutu looked the stronger team throughout and really should of added to the score line. However, Benni McCarthy would be please that his side managed to keep a clean sheet and get on up and running in group B with 3 points.

Earlier in the day Pitso Mosimane’s defending champions Al Ahly were held to a 0-0 draw by Al Hilal.

Mosimane named the same team that thumped Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal Riyadh in the FIFA Club World, but they couldn’t replicate that performance in what proved to be a tight affair.
