Mamelodi Sundowns forward Surprise Ralani is excited and looking forward to helping the team succeed on their journey in the Caf Champions League this season.
The Tshwane giants are set to face former head coach Pitso Mosimane when they take on Al Ahly in their Caf Champions League clash at the Cairo International Stadium on Saturday evening.
Masandawana will head into this encounter level on four points with Al-Merrikh in second place, while Al Ahly have collected only one point from their first two matches in Group A.
Ralani has described the Champions League experience as fascinating after featuring in their goalless draw with Al-Merrikh in the second match of group A in Cairo.
“The whole thing about the Champions League is it’s just a lot more interesting and totally different to what we have domestically – the travelling, hotels, training fields and obviously the opposition as well,” Ralani told his club’s official website.
“I’m just looking forward to making the most out of this journey and helping the team reach its goal.
“The fans have always been of great support to the club, we love and appreciate them and our humble plea is for them to continue to rally behind us.”
