Downs prepare to face Al Ahly in their Caf Champions League quarter-final second leg in Egypt on Saturday.
Pitso Mosimane’s men will take a massive 5-0 advantage into their clash against the Egyptian giants after the demolition job done on Al Ahly at the Lucas Moripe stadium last Saturday.
Zwane was one of the players to get his name on the scoresheet against the Egyptians, taking his tally to six goals in the competition and placing his amongst the competition’s top scorers.
‘Mshishi’ admitted that his confidence has been high after his good performances in the Champions League, but he also believes that he needs to be more clinical.
‘I think my confidence is high whenever we play in the CAF Champions League, but for me I must do more because normally I get three or four chances but only manage to get one,’ said Zwane.
‘I feel for me I must get two or three goals [in a match], he added.
Zwane is one of the longest serving members at Chloorkop and feels and added sense of responsibility being a senior member of the side.
‘I need to take responsibility. Obviously I am a senior player now, I need to take charge whenever I am on the field of play and try to help Hlompho [Kekana],’ he concluded.
