Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane along with three other guests have been invited to complete their Caf Pro License by Caf president Ahmad Ahmad.

was part of a special list of African coaches who took part in Caf’s inaugural Pro License Course that was held in Morocco last week.

The former Bafana Bafana mentor was invited by Caf president Ahmad Ahmad along with four other special guests after helping his side win the Champions League which led to him being named Coach of the Year at the Caf awards

Amongst the guests were, Egyptian three-time Africa Cup of Nations, Hassan Shehata as well as 2016 African Nations Championship winner with the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) – Florent Ibenge and Aliou Cisse – Senegalese coach.

The course whcih has eoght modules will commence during the Fifa sanctioned international breaks.

Mosimane revealed that he could have faced a massive language barrier had it not been for Zambian legend Kalusha Bwalya.

“The difficult thing is that the course is in French,” he told IOL.

“You’ve got to imagine me in that class with everything in French.

“But because Kalusha Bwalya is the chairman of the portfolio together with Anthony Baffoe, they helped me and got me an interpreter. But it’s not the same. So basically in the class I don’t take part.

“But I have to survive. I went to Greece and I speak the language now. I will survive. It’s a big honour and a privilege to be recognised in such a space.

“I never thought that I would be recognised outside the country. But I get respect there. It’s unbelievable. The North Africans now know about Sundowns.

“It’s humbling because who am I to be among those three coaches? I need to do better,” he added.
