Chelsea to face Man United in FA Cup fifth round

FA Cup holders Chelsea have been drawn against last season’s beaten finalists Manchester United at Stamford Bridge in the fifth round.

The draw for the fifth round of the FA Cup took place on Monday evening serving up a mouthwatering clash between Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s rejuvenated United side and Maurizio Sarri’s Chelsea.

The Red Devils made it eight consecutive wins with a 3-1 victory over Arsenal at the Emirates stadium, while Chelsea sealed their progression with a 3-0 win over Sheffield Wednesday.

Manchester City were handed a favourable draw after they were pitted against the winner of the replay between Middlesbrough and Newport County.

The fifth round will take place on the weekend of 15-18 February 2019.

Swansea City vs Barnet or Brentford
Chelsea vs Manchester United
Middlesbrough/Newport vs Manchester City
