Watch: Real Madrid unveil Kylian Mbappe at a packed Bernabeu

The Santiago Bernabeu was packed with football fans eager to witness the unveiling of Real Madrid’s marquee signing, Kylian Mbappe.

The French forward officially joined the Spanish giants on Tuesday, receiving a grand welcome from thousands of Real Madrid supporters. Club President Florentino Perez introduced Mbappe, saying, “You will now wear the white shirt, the shirt of the 15 Champions League titles. You won a World Cup at 18, and last season was your best season in terms of goals. Thank you Kylian Mbappe for being here.”

Taking center stage in front of 80,000 fans, Madrid’s new number 9 then addressed the crowd.

“Wow, it’s incredible to be here, incredible. My dream came true today. I’m happy, I’m really happy. It feels incredible to be here. We won guys. We won. I’m here. I’ve slept many years dreaming of Real Madrid and now… it’s reality. I see my mom in tears… it’s an incredible day for me. Let me say thanks to Florentino Pérez. I want to thank the president for having confidence in me since day one, thanks a lot. I have a message for children. I see a lot of children here in the stadium. I was a child like you. With passion and dreams, you can achieve whatever you want. I dreamt many years of this day, Today I’m happy boy, his dream is coming true. This is the biggest club in the world. I want to win, I want to be part of the history of this club. My other dream now is to be at the level of the best club in the world. I will give my life to this club. I won’t speak more because I’m going to cry . Hala Madrid!”
