Cape Town City right back Thamsanqa Mkhize says he will give his best to the team when they take on SuperSport United in the MTN8 final on Saturday.
The 28-year-old recently made his debut for Bafana Bafana during their 3-1 victory over Burkina Faso in the Fifa World Cup qualifier at the FNB Stadium last weekend.
The KZN-born fullback says he is looking forward to giving his all when the Citizens go head-to-head with Matsatsantsa in the hope of claiming their first piece of silverware this season.
“I just arrived back in Cape Town and will only be rejoining my teammates for training on Tuesday. I have no doubt they have been preparing hard for this match,” Mkhize told KickOff.com.
“I am definitely looking forward to giving my best for the team on Saturday.”
Cape Town City are set to battle it out with SuperSport United in the final of the MTN8 at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on 14 October, with kick-off set for 19:00.
