SuperSport United coach Eric Tinkler has been boosted by a full squad to select from ahead of their MTN8 final against Cape Town City on Saturday.
Tinkler will do duty against his former side at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Saturday as they look to add to the Nedbank Cup title that they won against Orlando Pirates.
Barring long-term injuries to Thato Mokeke and Onismor Bhasera, Tinkler has a full squad to select from, and the former Bafana Bafana midfielder admitted that selecting a team for Saturday’s cup-final will prove to be a tough task.
“Everybody is now fit and raring to go,” he told the media.
“The guys who came back from the national team are all good. Bradley [Grobler] had a bit of a knock on the ankle, but he’s fine. Clayton [Daniels] came through all good, Morgan [Gould] is all good and Ronwen [Williams] has no issues.
“So yeah, we have a clean bill of health and everybody is looking forward to the game.
“With more players becoming available now, domestic action is returning.
“It gives me a bit of a headache in terms of the selection because now everybody is available.
“We’ve been involved in Caf and my focus has been there, but now we have Sifiso Myeni, Azubuike Egwuekwe and Richard Boateng available.
“It makes my job a lot harder now, especially this week because they’re all highly motivated and all want to be part of the squad that want to lift that trophy,” he concluded.
The two sides face off at 19:00 on Saturday.
