Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal face the possibility of going three consecutive away games without a victory this year, following a 0-0 draw at Atalanta in the Champions League as they face Bournemouth on Saturday.
Arsenal are riding high with a ten-game unbeaten streak (W7, D3) in all competitions, thanks to the comfort of having played their last four matches home at the Emirates Stadium. However, their upcoming fixture against Bournemouth will be their first Premier League test away from home since their 2-2 draw with Manchester City.
The international break may have came as a chance for Bournemouth to recover, having lost three of their last four Premier League matches. Their latest defeat was a 1-0 away loss to Leicester City, though they secured a 3-1 home win against Southampton before that, marking only their second home league victory in six matches (D2, L2).
The Gunner have won 11 of their previous 14 encounters with Bournemouth having beaten Bournemouth 3-0 at the Emirates in their last meeting in May.
