The former Barcelona and Bayern Munich midfielder has struggled with injuries in recent years at Liverpool, limiting his appearances for the Reds.
Thiago Alcantara began his football career at the renowned La Masia academy, making 101 appearances for Barcelona between 2009 and 2013. He then joined Pep Guardiola’s Bayern Munich in the summer of 2013, where he spent seven years.
In 2020, Thiago signed with Premier League giants Liverpool. He made over 100 appearances, scoring four goals and providing six assists, before a series of serious injuries starting in October 2020 significantly impacted his playing time.
