Watch: City’s Grealish spotted looking unsteady

Manchester City midfielder Jack Grealish was spotted walking unsteadily outside a pub after playing 90 minutes for City in their 3-1 FA Cup victory against Plymouth.

Grealish has relatively not been given much game time for Manchester this season given City’s struggles in form across competitions.

Man City boss Pep Guardiola apologised earlier for Grealish not seeing much game time this season with speculations floating around that the former Aston Villa captain’s time at the Etihad might have come to an end.

“I’m so sorry he doesn’t get the minutes that maybe he deserves. But in the end, the contributions from Jeremy or Savinho have been massive this season, this is the only reason why. It’s not personal, or that I don’t like Jack, or I don’t have confidence in him. Of course, when you play one player more minutes than another, you have more confidence than him right now,” Guardiola said.

Grealish has made 26 appearances (two goals, five assists) for City in all competitions, 16 coming from the Premier League, with only six of those appearances being starts and the rest coming from the bench.

The 26 year-old midfielder is on a £300,000 (R7 million) a week salary with two years left on his contract following his £100 million transfer to the Etihad in 2021.
