The 2024/25 Premier League season got off to a thrilling start, with a total of 21 goals scored across the opening matchday fixtures. Leicester City’s veteran striker Jamie Vardy began the season with a goal to help the Foxes upset Tottenham Hotspur. Meanwhile, Manchester City’s prolific Erling Haaland continued his goalscoring exploits, finding the back of the net against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. Elsewhere, Manchester United’s new signing Joshua Zirkzee marked his debut with a goal, helping the Red Devils secure a 1-0 victory over Fulham.

With a host of star players making their mark on the opening weekend of the new campaign, the stage has now been set for an enthralling season ahead.
