Liverpool’s Virgil Van Dijk equalised with a header from a corner kicked minutes later. Arsenal got back in front right before half-time as Mikel Merino snatched his first goal for the Gunners through a header from Declan Rice’ spot on free kick delivery. Mohamed Salah later capitalised on centre-back Gabriel’s injury to salvage a point for The Reds.
