Arsenal, Atletico, Inter qualify for UCL last 16

Arsenal, Inter Milan and Atletico Madrid all qualified directly for the Champions League last 16 on Wednesday with wins in their final league-phase matches.

Former winners Aston Villa, Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen and Lille also joined Liverpool and Barcelona in securing top-eight finishes to avoid the new knockout play-off round.
