UEFA has honoured Cristiano Ronaldo with a prestigious award for being the Champions League all-time top scorer, with a record of 17 goals in a single season and 140 goals in 183 matches of the competition.

Cristiano Ronaldo was given the special award by UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin on Thursday at the 2024/25 UEFA Champions League draw ceremony in Monaco, as he notably apologised to former Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon for scoring that incredible bicycle kick against Juventus in the 2018 Champions League quarter-finals.
